What else do you want to know? The name pretty much sums this one up, in that order.
Our initial impression was the typical chocolate-maltiness you expect from a good dianhong. But the second brew had a floral scent in store, and after leaving the garden, peaches.
This tea comes from Daxhushan region bushes with minimal human interference outside of picking. Some would call them wild, but we call them left to grow. Fans of our Red Delicious and Dark Forest will especially enjoy this one, as it exhibits all the qualities of a higher end dianhong at an affordable price.
Please note that the 250g size does not include a tin.

This Dianhong is a real treat. Picked it up for a nice daily drinker at this price and it has performed beautifully. Bold flavors of chocolate and fruitiness are plentiful, minimal floral from my session.
Whereas other red teas typically calm down after four or five steeps, this one ran the course like an oolong. Had to finally call it after a litre and half had already passed, it could have kept going.

The name says it all, really! Amazing taste, quality, and patience at an affordable price. Initial maltieness, then a beautiful sweet-tart peachy flavor. I got the most incredible passionfruit aftertaste that lingered for close to half an hour. One of the best red teas I’ve had in a while. Coming back for more once the content of my (very stylish) tin is gone!
