Description
Back for another year, this is the cholate-iest, flowery and peachy tea we can offer. We wouldn’t normally be that bold with stating flavour notes, but this one has them.
This tea comes from the same Daxhushan region bushes as the previous year, which see minimal human interference outside of picking. In many cases this could be labelled “wild”, but that’s a bit of a misnomer. The tea is more “left to grow” by our labelling standards.
The tea itself produces a classic dianhong chocolate maltiness on the first brew, developing more florals in the second brew that turn into a peachy sweetness.
If you were around for Red Delicious or Dark Forest, then you’ll especially enjoy this one, as it exhibits all the qualities of a higher end dianhong at an affordable price.
Please note that the 250g size does not include a tin.

Just as good as last year’s stuff. The name is shockingly accurate. This is a very bright, floral and fruity tea, with a nice chocolatey underbelly that balances everything out. Serves as a great (and far more affordable) replacement for Dark Forest. Makes great cold brew too!

Just love this tea! Sweet and sweet with nice peach aroma and thick round mouthfeel.
This is very easy to brew and give you nice taste.
I bought another plum black tea, it was good but I love this more, I should buy this one more than other.

The texture of the tea is not ideal. Something is missing. Complexity? Thickness?
At first, the aroma gives me some intense zesty notes. Then a hint of raisin bread, oranges, peaches and dessert follow. Yummy! ^^
The raisin bread remains in the taste and some spiced pumpkin pie, peaches and cacao nib join the picture to shape a nice and cozy fall feeling.
