Description
One of the more refreshing white teas we have on offer, this year’s iteration is made from Lancang material, which showcases less of the vegetal qualities present in previous years’ versions. While the base material has changed, the spirit of this tea is the same, remaining uncomplicated and light on its feet.
Taking the place of some of the grassier notes is a more prominent wildflower fragrance. This is balanced out with a slight fruitiness and plenty of sweetness, making it somewhat more dynamic than its predecessors as well.
This is a true value tea, offering much more than can be expected of many sub-$0.10/gram teas.

This tea reminds me of autumn – Maybe it’s in the dry floral and hay tone, like crunchy leaves. These leaves provide a slick, very easy to drink brew with some subtle honey florals. It may be a little too subtle/light for me, but the sweetness does build over infusions and sips.
