Description
10/20/2021 – This tea has been restocked and re-pressed. Cakes only though!
The counterbalance to our 5-year celebratory sheng cake, this mega-blend of shou is richer than Bezos and deeper than the meaning of life.
This tea’s depth is due to variety and quality of material contained. Much of it is related to a few of our previous sheng pressings, such as WMD, Year of the rat, Long Live the Queen and Windfall. Teas included are:
- 2016 Fall Mansa (old tree)
- 2017 Fall Guafengzhai (old tree)
- 2017, 2018 Spring & Fall Yiwu (old tree)
- 2016, 2017, 2018 Spring Yiwu (fangyang)
There is a milky-sweet smoothness to this tea. The soup is dense and thick. The flavour clean and crisp. Pile taste or any off flavours are nowhere to be found. This Yiwu-region blend is a shou not to be trifled with.

This tea is medium bodied and super smooth, rich and dark. The profile is well balanced and nutty. It indeed has a strong milky sweetness like the description mentions. Besides that, the aroma reminds me of orange liqueur and butter toast. There is also a good huigan to be found and a sort of milky mouthfeel.

This tea presentation is really unique, i loved the packaging but most importantly, the tea. Jonah has supplied me with Sheng Sample while i ordered the Shou which is very generous of him. i must admit that it’s very impressive, Milky taste, sweet and defiantly resinates makes you crave to drink it again, couldn’t get enough.

This is not the kind of tea that slap you in the face with it’s taste. It’s more like a souvenir, ans impression of earth and rain. You’re walking in fall and there’s mushrooms growing beside your trail. Pleasant zen and caling sensation for an evening tea session.
