Description
This budget shou puer punches well above its weight. Made from 2015 Mengsong material, this tea is super smooth, a little nutty and with an excellent fragrance. This tea is as rich as they come for shou – you really couldn’t ask for more.
We strongly recommend having a brick on hand for when you need some emergency good vibrations sent your way. Also pairs well with feline companionship.

Quite like this tea. I don’t know if it is because of the artwork or the name, but it reminds me of an easy popsong. Nothing too fancy, but comforting and warming in the winter. Pleasant and refreshing menthol taste in the throat.

I adore this one because it comes with a very particular and dense vanilla pancake aroma for me that I haven’t gotten in any of my shu puers so far. The texture is as described super smooth without being boringly gentle. It comes with a nice and balanced sweetness. I cannot confirm the menthol taste another reviewer mentioned, but I will look out for it during another session.

A fairly simple, yet satisfying shou. The material is on the coarser side of the spectrum here, which is probably partially responsible for the relatively light body. The taste profile is of the nutty and earthy kind.
Dry leaves mostly smell of leather with hints of cannabis and forest floor. After the rinse, the aroma reminds me of hospitals a little. Apart from the underlying nutty and earthy taste, there are also flavours of molasses and egg whites. The lasting aftertaste is pretty smooth and refreshingly cooling, but doesn’t introduce too many new flavours.
