- Additional information
With a similar handpainted design as some of our other Plenty of Fish teaware, these gaiwans feature a distinctly different matte-black glaze on the outer body.
These gaiwans were all handmade and handpainted in Jingdezhen by an award-winning ceramics artist. Her inspiration for these pieces come from an old Qing dynasty catalogue of marine creatures, which was recently published as part of the Classics of the Forbidden City Collection.
Each gaiwans hold approximately 125ml (+/- 5ml) of liquid. As these are handpainted/handmade items, the design from one to another may differ slightly, but will still look great. Don’t worry.
