This series of teaware undoubtedly represents a step outside of your traditional gongfu teaware designs, but it’s a world we’re happy to get lost in, filled with cats, space, ocean, octopi, and stories that perhaps only the artist truly understands.

Coming from the highly creative and spontaneous mind of masters student from a top art university in China, we discovered these teacups in Jingdezhen late in 2022. Originally created for fun on the side while focusing on his main project, we commissioned a larger series of these cryptic storied teacups and other pieces.

These teacups are fully hand formed and there’s a lot going on in each of these cups, which is why we highly recommend viewing the videos in the tab above for a full 360 degree view of each cup before purchasing.
