Description

This teaware comes from another Jingdezhen artist that we happened to come across during one of our recent trips. She is incredibly diligent, often locking herself in her studio to work on pieces, completing each aspect from wheeling to glazing and firing.

These pieces features a unique glaze that produces a wood fired-like effect, although they are not wood fired. The glaze experiences a lot of kiln changes though, and therefore each piece is different from one piece to another. Please make a selection below to confirm the exact appearance.

Despite its appearance, these gaiwans are also surprisingly light.

Each gaiwan holds approximately 100-130ml of liquid. Please make a selection below to confirm the size.
