1001 Teapots – Teapot #338
- Additional information
Please note – This pot has a slightly looser lid than the others and while this doesn’t seem to affect functionality too much, the price has been reduced accordingly
Made by a small studio in Jingdezhen, this teapot is fired at a high temperature. Unlike our previous teapots from this series, this teapot is fully glazed inside and out.
This teapot features a large ball filter, holds approximately 185ml of liquid and pours empty in approximately 13 seconds.
Please note that as this teapot is made from rough clay, the lid may or may not seal perfectly, especially compared to tighter fitting purple clay pots. If you find the seal to leak, we advise using a smooth, steady pour to avoid drips without sacrificing pouring speed.
