Description

Developed by a fairly shy and reserved artist in Jingdezhen, this series of teaware is simultaneously childlike and sophisticated in its styling. Without offering pieces directly to the public, this artist’s work isn’t always easy obtain. Not only does each piece take considerable time to paint, but once the kiln door opens, pieces that aren’t already spoken for tend to disappear quickly.

These teapots feature a panda-faced pattern and clean lines on both the teapot body and lid. As with other pieces in this series, there is a high attention detail in terms of construction final appearance.

Each teapot holds approximately 175-210ml of liquid and cleanly pours empty in 10 seconds through a large ball filter. Please make a selection below to confirm the size.

Please note the spout on this teapot is angled slightly to the left (when facing away from the user). This should not affect function and should actually make for comfortable pouring for those who are right handed, but left handed brewers might have to make an adjustment if sensitive to the how straight the spout is.
