- Additional information
This teaware comes from another Jingdezhen artist that we happened to come across during one of our recent trips. She is incredibly diligent, often locking herself in her studio to work on pieces, completing each aspect from wheeling to glazing and firing.
These pieces features a unique glaze that produces a wood fired-like effect, although they are not wood fired. The glaze experiences a lot of kiln changes though, and therefore each piece is different from one piece to another. Despite its appearance, these pots are also surprisingly light.
Each on holds approximately 95ml of liquid (+/- 5 ml) and pours empty via a ball filter spout in 5-6 seconds. The inside is unglazed local rough clay, so we recommend dedicating these pots for one type of tea.
