This boiler is suitable for use with any fuel source, including charcoal.

We highly recommend using this style of kettle for brewing dancong, as it allows you to keep the water at a consistently high temperature from brew to brew.

In order to fully seal the kettle, we recommend boiling a full pot with a small amount of sticky rice before using.
