Description

This series of teaware comes from an artist in Jingdezhen who handles each step of the creation with intention, from formulating his own clay mixture, to developing the glaze and painting the final designs.

With his work in high demand in the Chinese market, we were fortunate to be able to pick up as many pieces as we could while in Jingdezhen during a recent visit.

The intention with each piece is to have an organic and unique feel to it. In this spirit, no design is repeated exactly, and both the designs and pieces themselves are intended to be unique from one another.

This batch uses a new clay formula tha experiences less crackles and maintains a more even/clean appearance compared to previous batches.
