Description
Made by a dedicated artist in Jingdezhen, these mugs are part of a heavily developed series that reflects the artist’s continuous pursuit of his own style. They feature a wide and tip-resistant shape that tapers at the top and a simple, but stylish white glaze, with extra attention paid to fit and finish.
These cups hold approximately 190ml of liquid.
Initially fairly shy and reserved, the artist behind this series has no problem opening up once talking about ceramics, the process of creating and developing pieces, and his work. This passion and focused pursuit of his own style and vision is what drew us to his work, not to mention the pieces themselves, of course.
Rather than just copy others’ aesthetic, this young artist spends a considerable amount of time and energy experimenting with various clays, glazes, and methods for construction, not only focusing on the appearance of his pieces, but making sure that they handle and perform well too.
