These teacups were handmade and handpainted in Jingdezhen. Qinghua (blue painting) style painting is usually applied on more refined pieces for a clean aesthetic, however, these achieve a more rustic look by employing qinghua that is painted over a rough clay base.

As per our request to the artist, most of these teacups feature everyone’s favourite domesticated master, the cat (among other elements). Inside can have either a cat, chicken, fish, or lotus pod painted on the bottom.

Each cup holds 45-105ml of liquid, so please verify the size and exact design of your cup when making a selection below.
