This artist’s work was a love-at-first-sight moment. Although the design and subject seems almost childish at first glance, it simultaneously has a sophisticated and delicate quality that make it feel precious.

This only becomes more apparent up close, as the handpainted details and texture reveal themselves, including textural differences between the painted and unpainted portions. This is one of those pieces that effectively combines a modern design with a vintage aesthetic.

These gaiwans have been restocked, however, due to differences in variables during firing, some pieces have come out darker than others. Please make a selection below and refer to the photos to confirm the appearance.

These gaiwans holds approximately 160ml of liquid. Please note that the inside uses an imitation Ruyao glaze that may crackle and craze with use.
