Description

A perfect match for our teapots of the same name, this tea tray similarly has undergone a wood firing process over a period of several days, lending a unique weathered appearance.

In addition to engravings, this tray features a .995 silver rim, adding to its elegance. The center piece is also removeable, making for easy clearing and clearning.

The primary clay for this piece is Yixing duanni clay, which is combined with no more than 10% local Jingdezhen clay in order to achieve better stability and a desired effect.

The wood used for firing is also carefully selected. In this case, only larger and older pieces of wood (masson pine) are used, as the smaller pieces do not perform as well and contain less trace elements.
