Description
Coming from a pristine left-to-grow environment in Huazhuliangzi, our 2025 Natural Habitat shares many traits with nearby Mengsong and Naka teas. This includes a pleasant bitterness/kuwei, mineral sweetness, and crisp fragrance.
Some fruit notes can also be picked up, with a slight peachiness coming to the forefront in its early years. Compared to other villages in the region, we find this tea is to be a very approachable alternative, but without sacrificing character. The texture is also quite smooth, making this a well-rounded and balanced tea.
As with several other teas we’ve offered, this one highlights the impact and importance of a clean, natural environment and offers an excellent experience for both new and experienced drinkers.

Thn smell comming off this is tea is fantastic. It’s clear and a bit perfume-y. It has a bit of fatty leaf gloss after the water hits it and has a alright mouth feel. A little bitter, a little bit of minerality. It leaves a little something on the gums and a very pleasant sweetness and florality on the breath out. I really like this. It makes me feel chatty but also like I could win a staring contest with the sun. I do not believe a cake it enough.

One of my favorite raw puerhs i’ve had yet, just the right amount of bitterness and it really develops a creaminess over steeps. The cha qi is pretty great with this one too. Just try it, i doubt you’ll be disappointed, a great tea, really balanced. I will be buying more for sure.

Dynamic tea. Excellent smell, good flavor and decent duration. Don’t get fooled by the wrap, this is by no means a delicate soft tea. Its bitter, easily astringent and has a strong chi. Would give it 5 stars but I’m a bit careless sometimes, and I think I scared the butterflies.
