Description
Although these are pressed in a small format, this tea packs a big flavour. Made from slightly older qiaomu (arbor) material, it has a dominant floral character, as expected from Jingmai area teas. This is coupled by an expanding thickness in the mouth that coats and preserves the fragrance.
For gongfu brewing, we recommend either using a slightly longer rinse, or rinsing twice to help allow the leaves to open up a bit. Of course, you can also drink the first brews, but the flavour may be weaker early on.
Each little mountain is ~4g in weight. The size options below are minimums, and may contain a few grams extra. This environment this tea comes from is also excellent, having been tested against the EU MRL standard for 400+ pesticide residues in recent years.
Picking period: Pre-April 7

Wow! Really, really love this tea! And really, those small mountains are just too cute to be true. Visually very pleasing and don´t get me started on the taste. 10/10 points, would by again.

The first time I tried 1 of these I wasn’t impressed and stopped drinking them for a month or more. Then revisited them and fell in love. So creamy and floral and also very thick texture. Probably my favorite Jingmai so far!

Thick mouthfeel, slight tanginess (in a good way) and delivers up to 9 steeps gong-fu style without losing much strength. Floral aroma and taste that transported me to a traditional Chinese teahouse. I repurchased!

Damn, this tea really blew my mind. During the first 3 brews, I felt that the flavour profile was not coming through fully. It was floral, slightly sweet and tangy with a clean aftertaste. I dialled down the temperature from 98 to 95 and things took a 180 deg turn 4th brew onwards. Full blown sweetness and creaminess with me wanting more brews out of it. I would so love to repurchase more mountains! They are super adorable :)

Juicy, tangy, easy drinking delights. They look fun too, which gets the interest of even non-drinkers of tea…Little Mountain Bloom may convert a few people to the sheng side!
