Description
Made from certified organic 2020 1st grade Simao material and fermented in 2025, this shou has a prominent and rich nuttiness that sits squarely in hazelnut territory. Cocoa and dark chocolate notes come through as well, along with a touch of bitterness that sits well.
The body is very full, and the tea stays lively and present from the first steep onward. This tea is also quite clean, with no pile flavour to wait out. The boldest of the three teas in this series, this tea is a strong choice for when you want a shou with some weight behind it.
