Chocolate Flower Peach 2026 Spring Daxueshan Black Tea

The name tells you pretty much everything you need to know, even if the balance shifts a bit from year to year.

For 2026 our impression was a heavy peach note up front, enough so that it almost warrants changing the name to Peach Flower Chocolate – but we wouldn’t want to confuse you. A pleasant floral quality follows this up, with a sweet cocoa finish. Expect this tea to shift over the coming weeks and months as it settles into itself, but so far it provides a nice contrast to our ’24 and ’25 versions.

This tea comes from Daxueshan region bushes that see minimal human interference outside of picking. In many cases this could be labelled “wild”, but that’s a bit of a misnomer. The tea is more “left to grow” by our labelling standards.
