Officially our earliest produced tea of 2025, this organic Simao green tea uses a tip-heavy grade high in amino acids, producing a clean and pristine feeling in the the mouth and noticeable umami quality. The fragrance is crisp, with a pleasant orchid quality and plenty of nuttiness to follow that up.
While more renowned green teas are still waiting for buds to appear, this tea takes advantage of Yunnan’s favourable climate and long growing season to give you a taste of the earliest days of spring, at a budget beating price.

It may be a weird comment, but I recommend drinking this tea in a dark cup. The heavy cloudiness of the liquor feels almost dirty and distracts me from concentrating on the actual taste.
//Smell: Light cream corn soup, similarities to silver needles, hay, herbaceous, vegetal, floral, steamed vegetables, broth, salty snack.
//Texture: Strong tongue coating, hot and heavy on the back teeth, medium texture.
//Taste: Herbs and floral tisane, wet rock, sand, astringency, silver needle groove.
//Body Sensation: Lassitude, neutrality, heartbeat stuck in the head.
