Description
Ice cream in winter might sound crazy, but when it’s in the form of buttery sweet Xuepian (winter leaf) dancong, it’s worth doubling up.
This year’s Double Scoop winter dancong delivers that smooth and sweet quality that xuepian is known for. While previous versions of this tea used Yashixiang and Wuye varietals, this time around we opted for a Zhilanxiang tea, which puts a little more emphasis on the floral side of things.
Please note that the 250g size does not include a tin.

Amazing cold brewed.
This tea is lovely, I recommend it. It has very interesting payers to explore.
Has an astringency you don’t expect from the name that fades away and leaves a sweet vanilla esque creamy sensation. It’s nice hot, amazing Cold brewed on ice.

Great winter Dancong. The floral qualities on this one really show how Dancong teas got their names.

The spicy notes cut through the flowery creaminess of the early brews. An excellent candidate for cold brewing.
//Smell: Sweet, floral, zesty, diluted fruit punch, white icing, orange blossom puff pastry.
//Texture: Pineapple ‘sharpness’ on the tip of the tongue, medium silky smooth texture, heavy coating on the back teeth.
//Taste: Bouquet of flowers, perfumed hand cream, fruit tisane, cooked sweet dough.
//Body Sensation: Gentle heat in the neck area, silence, serenity, sweat, focus

Strong floral notes throughout. Starts off with some stone fruits and milkiness. Great tea overall.

Excellent tea at a great price. I bought the 100g tin and went through it slowly through the second half of 2025. It developed beautifully, and every session with it was great. It was great hot, great cold, great brewed carefully at home and also a tea that did well when I brought it on some travels. Fruity, floral, and spicy all at once.
