Our annual budget-friendly Yashixiang (lit. “Duck Shit fragrance”) dancong is back, and it does exactly what makes this varietal so loved. The crisp honeysuckle fragrance (金银花) makes itself known right off the bat and lingers, showing off the distinct floral quality Yashixiang is known for.

That fragrance is backed by a sugary sweetness and a balanced, easy-drinking flavour that sits nicely in the mouth. Yashixiang covers a wide quality range given how common the varietal is, and this one serves as a strong representative. It’s also been remarkably consistent from year to year, so if you’ve enjoyed it in previous seasons, you know what you’re getting.
