Description
Versatility is the name of the game with this tea. Bolder and denser than tips-only, yet more floral and fragrant forward than shoumei grade, this baidmudan grade white tea is able to strike a perfect balance between delicate fragrance and substantial body.
There is a slight herbaceous flavour, with notes of citrus zest and a notable 鲜/fresh/umami quality. Later steeps reveal more florals, making this an enjoyable tea that shift throughout the brews.
With a thick texture, this tea lingers on the sides of the tongues and corner of the mouth, as well as offers more in terms of throat and huigan than tip-only grades of white tea.
This tea is offered loose in order to retain as much of the fragrance, layers and complexity that Fujian white teas are known for as possible.

An excellent BMD. Baked goods, flowers, and a hint of citrus! Smooth, almost buttery body and Plenty of endurance. Amazing value at this price too.
