Week In Pictures (August 8 – 14)

The newest addition to our gaiwan collection is a bit of a standout. We love that it’s hand painted and thin walled, but it was the pomegranates that really won us over. #tea

Just a new porcelain gaiwan with a beautifully hand painted pomegranate on it.

Happy Chinese Valentine’s day! 七夕节快乐! I was lucky enough to get one if these custom teacups from my loving wife. Stay tuned for your own chance to customize cups for your #tea in the near future… But in the meantime, we’ve added a few more Jianshui tea jars, cups and gaiwans to the store.

One of our personalized teacups, which you can order here. This is the “watercolour glaze” version, which is white with blue gradient towards the base. Ruyao cups also available.

Use the power of the 4 elements to support your teapot during grueling gongfu (#tea) sessions! … Or you could just use these Element pot supports. Budget-friendly and available in 4 colours and finishes, there’s a match for any teaware.

These pot supports are available in 4 colours and suitable for any budget. This is what we tend to use ourselves, as opposed to a full on tea table. They’re smaller, more versatile, easy to clean, and can be mixed and matched.

Taking a break to brew some aged sheng puer while picking up new Jianshui zitao. New pots and #tea jars coming soon…

Who doesn’t love a slow motion pouring video? We took a break while picking up some Jianshui teaware for some tea, naturally.
